Empowering students across schools and colleges to explore space science, build real-world aerospace technologies, and innovate without limits.
Kumaraguru SEDS is a student-led space club at Kumaraguru College of Technology, focused on exploring space science, astronomy, and space technology. The club provides students with opportunities to learn, build, observe, and work on hands-on projects through technical teams, events, and collaborative activities.
KOSMORENA is a space-themed event by Kumaraguru SEDS designed for school and college students. It brings together creative, intellectual, and team-based challenges where participants can explore mysteries, solve clues, tackle real-world problems, and come up with innovative ideas. The event encourages curiosity while developing skills in logical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, observation, coding, and teamwork.
Guiding student space exploration from theoretical orbital mechanics to robust experimental space hardware.
Flagship aerospace competitions across college engineering domains and interactive space challenges for school students.
Intensive aerospace hackathons, high-altitude water rocketry challenges, and kinematic space CAD assembly designed for engineering delegates.
Take the 30-question technical quiz, bid for problem statements in the live auction, and engineer breakthrough solutions across Space, AI, Hardware, and Robotics.
Design, build, and launch a water-powered rocket for maximum horizontal distance. 2 members per team with official launch pad trials.
Offline half-day engineering sprint testing parallel 3D CAD modelling, component assembly constraints, and space mechanism kinematic degrees of freedom.
Hands-on astronomy expeditions, cosmic clue detection, and space communication puzzles designed especially for school delegates.
A thrilling 3-round team challenge where 20 teams of 5 detect unknown radio transmissions, identify planetary sources using astronomy clues, and decode the final alien message.
An interactive space-themed adventure across three missions: Find the Planet clue hunt, Space Command elimination, and 10 rapid Stellar Questions.
Student-engineered space projects actively under development in the Kumaraguru SEDS research hangar.
The Observational Astronomy team explores the universe through observations, astrophotography, and data analysis. The team focuses on understanding celestial objects, working on research papers and observing astronomical phenomena while turning curiosity about space into practical learning.
The CubeSat team works on design and development of small satellites. Members of the team gain hands-on experience with satellite subsystems such as power, onboard computing, communication systems, structure and payload.
Tenacity is the rocketry team that focuses on designing, building and testing small rockets. The team mainly provides practical experience in propulsion, aerodynamics, structures, fabrication and flight testing while developing a strong foundation in rocketry.
